Topic: Lessons learned during Quarantine

Date: 5/25/2020

I learned so many good things during the quarantine and one of them is patience. I haven’t been able to go outside as often as I did which I don’t like but I have to be patient and wait for the right time. Another lesson I learned is letting go of somethings. I was very excited to go to Dorney Park(an amusement park/water park in Pennsylvania) with my school and I was looking forward to trying out for a higher level soccer team but they are canceled and eventually I accepted that. I also learned that everything is happening for a good cause. If everyone did what they wanted to and went outside, they had public gatherings, etc. Then this virus will spread. And that won’t be good. These are some of the lessons I learned during quarantine.

I also developed some new hobbies during this period of time. One of them is art. As I have been drawing a lot my drawing skill has improved and I started doing some origami too. Another hobby is talking to friends. It’s good that we have technology so we can still communicate with our friends. I usually just facetime or text them. I have fun doing all these hobbies in my free time after I get all my work done.

All in all, this quarantine is really something to learn from and to develop new hobbies, relationships and many more. And these lessons I learned don’t just apply to this time period they apply to all life situations.
