Garima Wadhwa

Garima Wadhwa

My name is Garima Wadhwa and I did my schooling in New Delhi, India. After completing my bachelors in Engineering, I worked in Belgium for 16 years. I met my husband in Belgium, our kids( Aryan 15, Ryan 12) were born in Belgium. We migrated to the U.S. in the year 2016. I belong to an Arya Samaji family and all my aunt’s and uncle’s (also Arya Samaji’s) played an important role in embedding the vedic values and traditions in our daily lives. Growing up, we would perform Sandhya and Havan every single day and at this stage of life, during times of fear or any difficult situation, chanting the Gayatri Mantra and other prayers helps us get past difficult times. The word “Sanskar” is extremely important for us, and out of everything else, SANSKAR and Vedic Values are vital in our parenting rules towards our kids. We feel that being a part of the Arya Samaj community would help our kids learn the values and provide tools for them to choose the right path when they grow up and need to take their own decisions at every step of life. I would love to selflessly devote and share my knowledge with the wonderful students of the Vedic Sanskriti School. Being a part of VSS, gives me and my kids true happiness. Aum.

Several years of teaching experience in early childhood made me believe more strongly that young children’s minds works magnificently when the roots are planted well. With the help of Vedic structural education I will be able to provide full support and enthusiasm to our VSS students. “ Together we sure can make a remarkable difference.”

Raj Bhalla

I earned my Ph.D. in Atomic Physics from Univ. Of North Texas. I taught Physics at a university before moving over to the IT field later on. I was not born into an Arya Samaj family but my father believed in one God. It was he who implanted in me the seed of One God, imperishable, who never takes birth. When I moved to New York, my elder brother introduced me to the current Arya Samaj some 30 years ago. Here I happened to read two books, Satyarth Prakash and Rigved Bhashaya Bhumika authored by Mahrishi Dayanand. These two books opened up my eyes and I realized this was no ordinary Swami. He really knew what he was talking about. My interest in Arya Samaj grew and I started to read on my spare time all the Vedas. I took classes in Sanskrit and Upanishads, from Dr. Surya Nanda of Arya Samaj Houston. Now my roots are firmly established in Arya Samaj as it is the only organization which is spreading the message of the Vedas, Upanishads and Darshan Shastras. Only the Vedas contain the true knowledge. Rest of the organizations are merely commercial and spreading their ignorance. I hope to impart this knowledge of our scriptures to the public and kids in particular. Sometimes I wonder what would my life have been, if not guided by the teachings of Mahrishi Dayanand. I perhaps would have fallen a prey to these false Gurus, like countless others. My wife Neelam and I consider ourselves to be very fortunate to be associated with this Arya Samaj for the last 30 years, attending it regularly and participating in all of its events.

I pursued a degree in Accounting and am a Certified Public Accountant. After the birth of my son, I realized the importance of teaching the little ones about our culture, traditions and moral values. I enjoy interacting with children and am motivated by their curiosity. I would like to be able to plant the seeds of knowledge in the little minds so that they can grow and achieve anything they dream of.
